Hi!

I'm an experience designer and design leader who builds teams and brings digital visions to life with strategy, creativity, and a human touch. For over 20 years, I've navigated the evolving digital landscape, partnering with global brands, non-profits, and the public sector to create experiences that genuinely connect with people.

Recently, I had the incredible opportunity to live in Fiji while my wife served as a Foreign Service Officer. During this time, I not only continued leading strategic design projects remotely but also served on the board of trustees for a local international school—an experience that deepened my perspective on governance, cross-cultural collaboration, and educational impact. (And yes, the diving was pretty amazing!) This international chapter reinforced my ability to work effectively across cultures and time zones while contributing meaningfully to communities wherever I am.

These days, I'm particularly energized by integrating AI-enhanced methodologies into design processes. I've been exploring how these tools can scale experience design, accelerate user research, improve pattern recognition, and help teams make smarter decisions faster—all while keeping human needs at the center of everything we create.

While my design & leadership philosophy reflects my professional approach, I seek inspiration wherever I am—in conversations, interactions, and exploration. I believe the best digital experiences, like the best moments in life, come from genuine human connection. It's why I approach both my work and personal relationships with curiosity, empathy, and a desire to understand what truly matters to people.

When I'm not focused on design strategy, you'll find me hiking nature trails, diving into the unknown (known unknown?), cooking, or enjoying a family adventure. Ideally, I'm combining all of these at once—preparing a meal outdoors while exploring somewhere new with my favorite people!

With my EU citizenship and experience with both hands-on design and leading distributed teams, I'm exploring opportunities across both the U.S. and Europe. Whether it's strategic design leadership, hands-on product work, or consulting engagements where we can unlock new possibilities through human-centered design, I'm always open to meaningful collaborations.
